Hanoi September 24, 2013This afternoon, the working party of the Laos Ministry of Industry and Trade visited and worked with Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex).
The party was led by the Director General of Internal Trade Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Laos Leuam Nhongvongsithi together with Vice Director General Soulinhon Philavong, Vice Director General of Economics and Trade Institute Xaysomphet Norasing together with officials of professional departments of Internal Trade Department and Economics and Trade Institute.
Vice Director General of Internal Trade Department of Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade Nguyen Loc An together with representatives of the Division for Materials Trade of the department attended the meeting.
On behalf of Petrolimex, Vice Director General Pham Duc Thang welcomed and worked with the delegation Attending the meeting were representatives of professional departments and divisions.
Overview of the meeting
After briefing the delegation on the history, capacity and strong position of Petrolimex in the business of petroleum products, lubricants, gas, paints, design and installation, oil transport, insurance…Vice Director General Pham Duc Thang spoke of Petrolimex development orientation in commodity business, services and investment in foreign countries on the basis of cooperation for mutual benefit chiefly with brotherly countries.
Leaders of Petrolimex sincerely thanked the Party and the Government of Laos for their support and creation of facilitation for Petrolimex to be present and do business through Petrolimex Laos Single-Member Company Limited (PLL). Petrolimex is confident that PLL will unceasingly and positively contribute to social and economic development of Laos, nurturing the fine traditional friendly relations between the peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
Director General of Internal Trade Department of Laos Ministry of Industry and Trade Leuam Nhongvongsithi took note of and highly valued the capacity, reputation and goodwill of Petrolimex, and reaffirmed the continuous support for the increased trade relations between the two countries in general and the business and investment of Petrolimex in particular.
The meeting was held in a ceremonious atmosphere of amity, understanding and mutual trust.
