The Petrolimex Lao One-member Limited Liability Company (Petrolimex Laos) organized a conference to review performance in the first half of 2015 and work out plans for the second half of 2015 in Vientiane on July 2 with the participation of the firm’s leadership and staff.
At the conference, Petrolimex Lao Finance Director Vu Ngoc Tu made a preliminary report on the business performance in the first six months of 2015, which has grown significantly compared to 2014 as follows:
+ Output: 53%,
+ Revenue: 71%,
+ Profit: 73%.

With the aim to maintain and continue these achievements, Petrolimex Lao Deputy Director Khambee Lattanavong, on behalf of the firm’s leadership, put forth development orientations for the second half of the year, including the continued promotion of the images of Petrolimex Laos, improved service quality to better serve customers, and the search for opportunities to expand business market, among others.

At the one-day conference, representatives from specialized divisions and departments and petrol station members shared experience in instructing and operating business activities, pointed out weaknesses and shortcomings, and recommended solutions to overcome difficulties in financial, accounting and business activities, as well as policies for favorable treatments of laborers, and so forth to ensure that they abide by Petrolimex Vietnam’s regulations and the laws of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

Making a speech to close the conference, Petrolimex Lao Chairman and General Director Phan Van Minh acknowledged achievements that the firm gained in the first half of the year thanked all cadres and workers for their contribution to the development of the firm. Besides these achievements, the General Director called for specialized divisions and departments to better their co-ordination to review and resystemize proposed plans, and to assess fulfillment, shortcomings and weaknesses to propose adequate solutions. The General Director stressed that human beings play a decisive factor, thus, it was necessary to continue enhancing the qualification of employees; to efficiently revoke debts; and to continue increasing retail sales, maintaining traditional wholesale customers and distribution agents, and developing petrol station system directly under Petrolimex Laos.
