Hanoi July 3, 2013. The first batch of Petrolimex lubricants arrived in Laos. The goods produced by Petrolimex Petrochemicals Corporation (PLC) are stacked in oil retail stations run by Petrolimex Laos single-member company limited, ready for official launch to end users.
As a further step of success in Vietnam market, PLC sent a technical and business team to explore the Laotian lub market so as to build a strategy of “attacking” this market.
Later on, PLC built plans for product types, packaging, labels, language, advertisement, consumer demand …suitable to this market and in compliance with international standards.
Besides, Petrolimex Laos sent its officers directly to Lubricants Blending Plant and Laboratories Vilas 017/Vilas 022 (ISO/IEC 17025:2005) belonging to PLC at Thuong Ly (Hai Phong) to visit the production chain, the procedures of quality assurance as well as the capacity of the plant.
As a result, after a year and a half (from beginning of 2012 to June 2013) of study and deployment, the first batch of Petrolimex lubricants are present at stores of Petrolimex Laos to be further dispatched to retail stations in line of Petrolimex Laos distribution network.
Not content with mere wish, PLC initiated the coordination with Petrolimex Laos in bringing a new range of reliable products to brotherly Laotian consumers i.e. lubricants produced by PLC with brand name of Petrolimex Group.
The coordination between PLC and Petrolimex Laos is based on the background of promoting the systematic cohesion within Petrolimex family under the guidance of Petrolimex Group leadership aiming at promoting the business of products and services supplied by Petrolimex, with effect as the core.
This is a comprehensive and wide scaled “attack” by various types and grades of Petrolimex lubricants in Laotian market. PLC and Petrolimex are confident that Petrolimex lubricants are largely welcome by end users, customers and partners.
Formerly, PLC for many consecutive years had constant supply of universal and specialized lubricants to Laos for the Laotian Military Oil Company (Vientiane Oil Company) for the latter’s own use.
